Most people visit beaches on a hot, toasty day where their bodies can glisten and bronze in the heat of admiring eyes. She preferred the blanket of grey and the tangy mist shocking her out of everyday reality. Huddled inside an oversized sweater, there was nothing and no one waiting for her that could tear her away from this sight. Grey meeting blue and blurring into a thin, horizontal line. An alternate universe. A dream.
